NEW YORK, April 2, 2013 – Jefferies today announced that it will hold its industry-leading Global Shipping Conference in New York City from June 18-20. The conference, which is in its tenth year, will provide institutional investors direct access to the firm’s corporate clients in the sector.
Jefferies’ Global Shipping Conference will be held in conjunction with the 26th Annual Marine Money Week event, which typically attracts more than 1,000 shipowners, corporate CEOs and CFOs, public and private equity investors and other finance and industry professionals. Participants are involved in all aspects of the shipping industry, including crude oil & refined products tankers, dry bulk carriers, containerships, container lines, gas & chemical carriers, inland barges, logistics, vessel charterers, shipbrokers and shipyards.
"Our goal is to provide investors and companies with effective and efficient networking opportunities, and coordinating a conference with Marine Money at their annual event should provide maximum exposure for our clients," said Jeff Pribor, Global Head of Maritime Investment Banking at Jefferies.
