Eric Platt is a Financial Advisor at Jefferies, one of the world’s leading full-service investment banking and capital markets firms. In this role, he works with U.S. and international clients to develop strategic portfolios that address their diverse needs and goals. He has a unique focus on intergenerational-wealth planning, helping clients strengthen relationships with the next generation and establish succession plans that help ensure their legacy. Eric has nearly a decade of experience at institutions such as Morgan Stanley Private Wealth and HSBC Wealth Management, where he worked with high-net-worth individuals, families, and corporations in the U.S. and Latin America. He also worked on the asset management side of the industry at M&G Investments, and as a Business Development Executive for OneDigital, focused on workforce strategy consulting. Eric holds his bachelor’s degree in economics from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at University of Delaware, with a minor in Spanish. He is currently working toward obtaining his CFP.

Yhadi Mercado is a Business Analyst in Wealth Management at Jefferies, one of the world’s leading full-service investment banking and capital markets firms. In this role, she draws upon her nearly 30 years of experience working with both international and U.S.-based clients. Prior to joining Jefferies, Yhadi spent nearly a decade at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Her tenured career includes various relationship management, operations, and investment management roles at such firms as Wells Fargo Wealth Management International, UBS Wealth Management, and Royal Bank Wealth Management. Yhadi began her career at Doral Securities in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Yhadi holds her degree in Accounting and Finance from Universidad Interamericana, in Puerto Rico, and her series 7 and 66 licenses. Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, she lived in Grove City, Ohio, prior to settling in Miami, Florida. In her personal time, Yhadi enjoys art exhibitions, spending time with her family, and actively serving her local church.
