Gonzalo has more than 20 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals, families, and corporations. Before joining Jefferies, Gonzalo spent nearly a decade as a Senior Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, servicing clients in the U.S. and Latin America. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at HSBC Private Bank. He began his professional financial career at UBS International. Gonzalo holds an MBA from the University of Miami, and a double bachelor’s degree in international business and business administration from Florida International University. He is a registered and licensed advisor and holds his series 7 and series 66 licenses. Gonzalo is a past trustee member of The Cushman School, Miami-Dade’s oldest continuously operating private school; and has a personal passion for the Fine Arts. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and migrated to the U.S. at the age of 15.

Prior to joining Jefferies, he served as Client Associate at Morgan Stanley. He has also held positions in the Latin American Wealth Management group at Wells Fargo Advisors, and Royal Caribbean International. Gustavo holds his bachelor’s degree in international business from Florida International University, as well as his series 7 and 63 licenses. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years. Originally from México City, México, Gustavo is fluent in English and Spanish.

Romel has more than 25 years of experience investing on behalf of high-net-worth individuals, families, and corporations. Prior to joining Jefferies, he spent nearly a decade as a Sr. Financial Advisor and Sr. Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley, serving clients in the U.S. and Latin America. He also served at UBS – splitting time between Florida and New York – as a member of the team responsible for trading desk flows and trading strategies for the private client group, and as an Investment Advisor for Latin American clients at Barclays. Romel holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance, from Florida International University. He is a registered and licensed advisor, and holds his series 7, 66 and 3 licenses. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Romel is originally from Venezuela.
