Ian Rennardson and Andrew Lee Join to Lead Coverage of UK Travel and Leisure
NEW YORK and LONDON, 16 June 2011 – Jefferies announced today the hiring of Ian Rennardson as a Managing Director and Senior Analyst and Andrew Lee as a Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst to lead the firm’s equity research coverage of the UK Travel and Leisure sector. Specifically, they will cover the Lodging, Gaming, Travel, Cruise and Food Service industries. Both will be based in London.

Mr. Rennardson brings to Jefferies more than 20 years of equity research experience, and joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he spent 14 years and was a Managing Director and Head of European Travel & Leisure research. He was ranked #1 in the 2010 Financial Times / StarMine Analyst Survey, #2 in the Institutional Investor 2010 Analyst Survey and #2 in the 2009 Extel Survey. Previously, he worked in Equity Research at Credit Lyonnais Laing and Yamaichi International. He received an MBA with distinction from Warwick Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Physics from Bradford University.
Mr. Lee brings to Jefferies more than 11 years of equity research experience, and joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was Specialist Sales for Travel & Leisure. Previously, he spent nine years at Dresdner Kleinwort where he led the Leisure research team as a Director in Travel & Leisure Equity Research. While at that firm, he was ranked in the Financial Times / StarMine Analyst Survey and Extel Survey multiple times in the Travel & Leisure category. Prior to that, he worked in Management Consulting at Arthur Andersen and as a chartered accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He received a BA (Hons) from Manchester University.
