NEW YORK - July 21, 2011 – Jefferies today announced the appointment of Dung Nguyen as a Managing Director in Healthcare Investment Banking. He will be based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Nguyen brings to Jefferies more than 15 years of healthcare investment banking experience, focused principally on the pharmaceutical sector. He joins the firm from Citadel Securities, where he was a Managing Director in healthcare investment banking, and prior to that was a Managing Director at Citigroup, where he spent approximately five years in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group. Previously, he worked in healthcare investment banking at Lazard Freres and Salomon Smith Barney. He received his BS from the University of Chicago.
