The addition of Mr. Katz complements Jefferies' research coverage of European Hotel, Gaming and Gaming Technology companies by London-based equity research senior analyst Anna Barnfather and analyst, William Birch, as well as coverage of Gaming, Lodging and Leisure credits by US-based leveraged finance research analyst John Maxwell.

Previously, he was a co-founder and principal of a private manufacturing company for approximately ten years. He received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from Lehigh University.
