(NYSE: JEF), today announced the hiring of David Chan, CFA, as a Senior Equity Research Analyst in London who will focus on growth companies and the rapidly expanding healthcare services and IT hardware industries in the UK. The addition of Mr. Chan extends Jefferies’ presence in Europe and underlines the Firm’s global commitment to expanding coverage in its core areas. Mr. Chan joins a team of 12 senior sector analysts based in Europe.

Mr. Chan also followed Pan-European Technology Hardware as an analyst for Schroder Investment Management. He received a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Finance & Economics from the London School of Economics, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
