Ms. Christofferson will lead the New York team responsible for overall private equity market research and analysis, as well as fund level due diligence efforts for its North American clientele. Mr. Norton is responsible for the generation and coordination of mandates, as well as Helix’s activities in the Nordic Region, where he has extensive knowledge and long-standing relationships. Going forward, Helix intends to continue leveraging the fund placement group’s experience and reputation with Jefferies’ strength in the mid-cap market and relationships in the private equity community. Prior to joining Helix, Ms. Christofferson was a Vice President with JPMorgan Chase & Co and its predecessor firms, where she gained a background in a broad range of businesses, including corporate finance, M&A, transaction development and private equity, as well as project management and senior staff roles at the client coverage and corporate levels. She began her career with First Reserve Corporation. Ms. Christofferson holds a BA from the University of Connecticut. Ms. Christofferson will be based in Jefferies’ headquarters at 520 Madison Avenue in New York.
