A commitment to social responsibility & diversity

With an expanding global network of more than 25 offices in six countries spanning three continents, contributing to society and promoting a diverse work force is important to us.

Together with the help of clients and vendors, our firm and its employees have contributed over $25 million in donations toward the relief efforts in response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the December 2004 Asian tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, which struck New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast on August 29th, 2005, the January 2010 earthquake in Haiti and the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. To date, the Jefferies Energy Group has helped raise more than $5 million for cancer research. Our educational grant program supports the education of the children of Jefferies employees and has granted more than 800 scholarship awards. In addition, the firm has an established employee contribution matching program, which benefits a wide range of important causes.
