Jefferies hosted its 5th Global Clean Technology Conference in New York City on June 5, 2008, which featured a range of leading players and emerging growth companies who are addressing today's critical energy supply and security issues, environmental concerns and sustainability challenges. The one day event represented nearly 60 companies and highlighted the most diverse range of sectors within the industry to date including advanced batteries, biofuels, energy demand response, energy infrastructure, industrial biotechnology, solar, water and wind.
