Jefferies hosted its 3rd Annual Industrial CEO Summit and Golf Outing August 13-15, 2007. While 2006 was still a strong year for industrial stocks, we believe 2007 will likely prove to be one of company specific stories driving share prices more so than top down themes. As well, we would expect M&A to be a topic with many managements. Our conference format offered a unique approach with only one-on-one and small group meetings. Over the course of two days, senior management from nearly 30 small and mid-cap industrial companies were available for meetings.
