NEW YORK, February 3, 2011 . Jefferies today announced the addition of Tim Monnin, who joins as a Managing Director in the Business Services Investment Banking Group. Mr. Monnin will focus on the Transaction and Information Processing sector, and will be based in the firm.s Charlotte office.

Mr. Monnin brings to Jefferies 18 years of investment banking and financial advisory experience. He joins the firm from Wells Fargo, and its predecessor Wachovia, where he spent approximately 12 years, and founded and ran the Transaction Processing and Financial Technology Investment Banking Group. Previously, Mr. Monnin was employed at CIBC Oppenheimer in their investment banking division. He received his MBA from the University of Illinois and his BA from Brown University.
