NEW YORK and LONDON, 5 October 2011 - Jefferies today announced the appointment of Michael Davies and Henry Harries as Managing Directors in European Equity Research Sales. They will be based in the firm's London office.

The group is comprised of over 750 professionals in research, sales, and trading across the U.S., Europe and Asia, including nearly 300 research professionals covering over 1,200 companies globally, with 290 companies in Europe.
Both Mr. Davies and Mr. Harries join the firm from JP Morgan, where they were Managing Directors focused on Pan-European Equity Sales. Previously, they were Managing Directors in Equity Sales at Cazenove Group. Mr. Davies is a Philosophy, Politics and Economics graduate from Oxford University and Mr. Harries is an Economics and Accounting graduate from the University of Southhampton.
